Most of our traffic controllers are of Aboriginal decent. Ahoy Traffic Control provides Traffic Controllers and other traffic management services such as equipment hire and the design of Traffic Control Plans.

Our Traffic Control Services and Products include:

  • All year round availability of accredited and experienced Traffic Control Officers, Supervisors and Managers. Available for day and night work and on short notice
  • Traffic Management services for building and construction sites including JSAs (Job Safety Audits) and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements), Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Control Plans;

  • A modern fleet of purpose-built Traffic Control and Safety Vehicles
  • Road work solutions – lane closures, road diversions, stop/slow, contraflow;
  • Supply and installation of road traffic control systems and traffic equipment;
  • Development and design of traffic management plans via the latest software.
  • A range of traffic control equipment for hire: road cones, arrow boards comes with vehicle, traffic signs and pedestrian barriers.

Ahoy Traffic Control brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the traffic management and building and construction industry. Our key traffic control workers have over 10 years’ experience and have worked on and have been team leaders in major road constructions such as the ‘Woolgoolga to Ballina Bypass’, State road resealing contractors, Building and construction projects and the delivery of services to a local councils.

Since commencing operation in November 2017 the business has provided services to Colas/ SRS state resealing services, Haslin constructions, Port Stephens local council, Pacifica constructions for Macksville Hospital upgrade, Espeden and ARBPRO. All works we have completed to a high standard and to the customers satisfaction.

Ahoy Traffic Control offers a mentoring and training program for new employees by senior members in the traffic management field to ensure that all our staff can work above and beyond the project requirements. We have close within the aboriginal community. We have strong communication skills and are highly committed to working alongside aboriginal organisations to ensure cultural heritage is maintained and we are committed to developing a strong team framework to ensure all works conducted benefit local aboriginal communities.

Ahoy Traffic Control is recognised under the local government procurement sustainable choice business for its high commitment to environmental protection, maintaining cultural heritage and providing employment choices for socially disadvantaged Australians. We are an approved contractor through Local Government Procurement; there for able to begin works alongside local land councils, organisations and reginal councils for immediate start.
